Wittner Security Consultants is based in Woodland, near Sacramento, and serves Northern California only, in person. That covers the Sacramento region, the northern Central Valley, the North State and Sierra foothills, and the closer San Francisco Bay Area on a selective basis. It does not work in Southern California or out of state.
There are no branch offices and no local franchises. Physical security is on-site work, so proximity is not a detail, it is the whole point.
Plenty of firms will claim to cover the whole state or the whole West. This one deliberately does not, and the reason is the work itself:
If your facility is outside Northern California, the practice is not the right fit, and you will be told so plainly rather than sold a service that cannot be delivered well.
Northern California, and only Northern California. That covers the Sacramento region, the closer San Francisco Bay Area on a selective basis, the northern Central Valley, and the North State and Sierra foothills. The practice does not work in Southern California or out of state, because physical security work depends on being on site, repeatedly, and a consultant who cannot get to your building is not much use.
No. There is one base, in Woodland near Sacramento, and every region is served on site rather than through branch offices. When a page here names a region, it means Paul travels there to do the work in person, not that there is a local franchise.
It depends on the engagement. The Sacramento region is home ground and the easiest to serve intensively. The Central Valley and North State are a comfortable reach and covered deliberately. The Bay Area is selective: worth the travel for the right high-consequence project, most naturally in the counties closest to Sacramento. If you are unsure whether your location fits, call and ask.
Describe where the facility is and what prompted the call. Paul will tell you honestly whether he can serve it well, including when the answer is that a local firm would suit you better.
